A poem || Vantage Point
This past Sunday our little one fell asleep in the car on the way to church. This meant my husband or I would end up sitting in the car with her for a few minutes so she could get a somewhat decent nap in for the morning. I didn't mind snagging a few extra minutes of quiet, so I volunteered. My few extra minutes turned into 40 minutes after which I decided to wake her and go inside lest I miss the entire service. While I enjoyed the peace and quiet, I was intrigued by a flock of birds right above our church and wrote a quick poem on my phone that I've played around with. I hope this encourages you to pay attention to the beautiful wildlife in the midst of our concrete cities and structured schedules. God is everywhere- alive and moving- inviting us to be apart of his story.
